I love TCM

Before cable TV was as flush with channels as it is now, I had the first DirecTV (sp?) small dish in my former little hometown installed on the side of my temporary home at 112 Persimmon.  Built in about 1918 (I think) it had been the Bogusch Jewelry Store in its day, a restaurant and other things.  

Back to TV ..... after looking through the channel lineup I discovered American Movie Classics.  Before then the only way to see old Hollywood movies was stay up late Saturday nights and wait for one of the networks to play one.  Now Turner Classic Movies has forced AMC to become an also-ran who plays crap and commercials.  

Without TCM, I doubt I'd even watch TV.  Today, it's 1961's Bachelor in Paradise, with Bob Hope, Agnes Morehead, Jim Hutton and Paula Prentiss.
